This project will develop a new, state of the art “Humber Healthcare Academy” at the heart of the Grimsby Institute Campus. The Academy will provide facilities, equipment and underpinning infrastructure to support new employer-led educational pathways with a clear line of sight to careers within the local priority Healthcare sector, including registered nursing, the only dental nursing provision in the Humber and care roles.

The Academy will comprise industry-standard simulated teaching wards equipped with innovative digital technology and modern teaching and learning resources, dental suite and clinical laboratories. Expansion in HE and FE provision will create 76 progressions into local healthcare employment by 2021/22.
